Yeah, yeah.

Combine the two, and all remain quiet.

That is fine and all, and I wish this was all a giant ruse. Believe me, it would warm my heart to see that not only a maverick dev, but an entire corporation went out of its way to prepare such an amazing surprise for its fanbase, but I just can't see them ignoring perceived corporate interests. Doing something like this is obvious to us and to devs, because we're gamers, but the people who call the shots are in the corporate world - many of them have vastly divergent interests and ideas. They're not really concentrating on how to deliver the best audio-visual, literary work, such delivery is merely an afterthought or side effect of profitable activity.

Yeah, and what about for example, PS4 players which are offline (by choice, necessity, or whatever). they will never see true ending to the game? You can add some things to the game in form of a dlc, but not true ending for god sake.

Not really. There are always solutions to getting an internet connection and how could you live without one in this day and age?

I mean, sure there are ways to go online. But on consoles devs cannot force you to do that. You can miss some additionas guns, or whatever in a DLC. But not final mission(s), because that is just silly, and it's just proof that you bought not complete product. I mean game ENDS. Period. It's not episodic game like The Walking Dead and so on. You may not like the ending, but the fact is that ending is there.

in my country there's a saying: 'les promesses n'engagent que ceux qui y croient'
translated that would be: promises only bind those who believe them.

and here there isn't even a single doubt of promise.

How's that page actually connected to metal gear. I think I've missed the fact in previous posts

I agree that DLC is unlikely, but there are still possibilities to add the game ending.

As far as i know, the resources the game need to create a mission is only some script and audio files to construct cinematics. Almost all big-size resources to create final mission are already in the game. Unless the ending mission exist in a completely different map.
