Stuck after mission 41, how do I get the next story mission
I just finished Proxy War Without End, and I want the next story mission. I have no yellow missions and no yellow side missions.

Please don't tell me I have to do the white expert replay missions, I'm getting sort of bored of the game and really just want to finish it.

believe you do need to complete those if you've done the "find the children" ones and still have no more updates.

listened to all tapes, and have done multiple side missions and visted base since, nothing

Normally 2-4 side-ops is enough to open up the next main mission. For it it seemed like it could be any of them and once you do the final one that starts off the next thing it will auto complete and take you back to motherbase once you do the objective.

If you have not found out by now I would suggest doing the side-up then hitting esc and clicking head back to ACC. It is a lot faster than waiting for a helicopter.

i'm still at mission 30 so i dont if this is the problem you have. saw this on reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/metalgearsolid/comments/3kfrhg/regarding_mgsv_mission_42_bug_to_those_of_you_who/ all you have to do is redo mission 41 as one of your soldiers. and like the others said keep doing side missions.

Well it finally unlocked, I completed it, and now the next mission is doing the same thing. The game took such a nose dive after chapter 1, I don't think I'll complete it myself, I can't be bothered to do extract prisoner 9999999 again.

Really wish they would just let me finish the story.

I never thought it was an issue myself. You only need to do maybe 4 side-ops to get the next story mission a time or two and the side-ops take maybe 5 minutes.

I also never had to repeat a mission

Yes but the side ops are just the same thing over and over. I've done like 80 of them already.


swiggity what is quiet bugged? I am after mission 43 and I sitll have quiet. I just listened to the emmrich tapes and have been back the HQ twice and still cant progress.

I finished the game with 75 side-ops done. So if you are actually doing them once you run out of new story missions I don't know what to tell you.

i know exactly how you feel, i had to do the retarded extreme versions of the same missions and finally unlocked new main mission just to escape from the hospital ...for the third time or second time. I dont know since i lost track.

i mean why tho ? why not do it in a better manner ? this is really ruining the game experience for me =(
