For now just use the throw and aim that way, yes you lose some angles but it's the only way to guarantee consistency.
Also nice Rikimaru, I hate how nobody knows that series exists.
I tried doing this, but it didn't seem to work for me. Maybe I was doing something wrong.
All this does is automatically make me go into an overhand stance.
First hours of games (about 30 hours), I had no problem with the grenades. I could throw them away or close by to a short click.
But for several hours, it is impossible for me to throw a grenade with a short click. (I am now 80 hours of play).
Sometimes I get to throw a grenade with a short click, by switching the view to the first person.
Mouse + keyboard
I've replied a few times already.
1. Hold right mouse.
2. Now hold left mouse (means hold both buttons).
3. Aim.
4. Release leftmouse.
Do not ask me what were devs thinking. Probably they've never seen a PC mouse in their life otherwise menus and crafting wouldn't be so clunky.
basically the game thinks you have held the button even though you just clicked.
Am experiencing the same issue.
Perfect implementation with the magazine.
Almost every single click with grenade results in an overhanded lob.
I've been experimenting with it, holding down odd combinations (though I haven't tried Josertm22's, though reading Gordam's it might not work for me either.), but not luck so far.
Short of sacrificing a chicken to Hideo each time I try, I'm out of ideas.
I'm answering the original reporter with a quote and linking to here so we can keep on discussing said bug or sharing work arounds should any pop up in our poking around and hilarious attempts to throw grenades like a normal person.
