Worse is what he did with his Comrades let alone his Wife and Son, it was a dramatic shift from Peacewalker, but I still hated him nonetheless.
I played Peace Walker years back when it first came out, on the PSP platform. I don't really remember much of the details.
But I was hoping Huey would be slightly more 'pleasent' and...Well, it's backwards I know. But I was hoping he'd resembles his son more. Since Naked and Solid's position kind of a parelle / mirror image. I just didn't expect / recall Huey being such a total duche.
Lovely Family.
Then I start remembering, you know what happen to Miller guys right ? With Liquid etc, then what happens to Big Boss and everyone else, this is so dark so depressing, it only reminds me Dark Souls 1 stories with many characters ending up dying or suffering without any way out.
This is really different from any other MGS, Kojima really took a chance and I believe he done it very well, I also feel and have a lot more respect if I can say it this way for Big Boss and less for Solid Snake, he sure had it hard like in MGS4 but wow so much happened before Solid Snake, just great story, to me at least
About Huey, I'm glad Otacon not ending up being like his father, when you think about it it's terrible how the Mother Base is, I only finished chapter 2 now i'm taking a break from main story by doing tons of sidequests but
Huey being himself, a backstabber but you still have to work with him, then there Miller being more dark than ever, Ocelot being... a triple sercret agents whatever you never know what plans he has behind his head, then there Quiet that seem nice but still.. yeah things
Great team really, Solid Snake really had it easy compare to Big Boss.
I've always liked Big Boss / Naked Snake, more than Solid Snake.
I mean the guy was a true legend, a real hero. He was patriotic until the end (The end being he atleast finished his mission before putting the country behind him.) He infilitrated all by himself, without any high tech gadgets, he literally toppled a government, and tharwed apocalypse. Not to mention he best'ed the Boss, and...Well, it was real depressing that we HAD to kill her, or else story just won't progress.
I think it was Miller who said it. Or perhaps Ocelot. The most dangerous liar are the ones who believe in the lies themselves. And Huey is exactly that, he believed every backstabbing he done, everything he accomplished was justified in his own end.
Ocelot was a triple agent sure. But one thing for certain is his admiration towards the real Big Boss. He's one of the soldiers, much like the Medic himself, that would follow Big Boss to hell and back, and even put themselves between lethal danger and the Boss. Kojima stated Quiet's relationship with V is pure professional. But I think Quiet admire V as much as Ocelot admires Big Boss. Maybe a little bit more so. Quiet's ending casette tape reveals as much. She was grateful towards V.
Solid Snake had all sorts of high tech gadgets to help him through his missions. Even an auto-camo suit that boosts his strength. In comparison to MGS4 and 5, I'm not sure which game offered more of a clutch. MGS4 we got the suit that helps you blend in everywhere, and a heck lot more cosmetic items that offere various effects, as well as plenty of secret 'joke' weapons that actually works. In MGS5 we got D-Dog that basically acts as a portable wall hack.
He was right on that one though.
D-Dog IS a wolf, they just trained him and called him a Dog.
In the pre-release game footage shown, the way the demonstrater shown how to recruit D-Dog was that a soldier or Quiet shot the wolf mother, and the wolf pup (D-Dog) was staying by his dead mother side, until he saw Snake, then he just kept following Snake everywhere.
I just found Huey's screaming really funny.
I was actually expecting that to happen. I thought I'm going to go into a mission, and hear a random gun shot, then I'd have to find the pup and rescue it.
But mine happened randomly, I was trying to get across Afghan to the mission objective, came across a lil pup. And he just kept barking. I was so excited, and wanted to fulton him out. Gave him a tranq shot in the head, and Miller yelled at me, asked me what the ♥♥♥♥ was wrong with me.
I was so afraid I messed it up, turns out I could just fulton him without tranqing him first. That first encounter was hilarious for me.
I honestly think he might have some sort of autism weither Kojima planned him that way or not. Engineering genius but he is terrible at everything else.
That's rather a common trait among...Specialists.
I mean I know some coders personally, and they're all odd balls. It's hard to explain or describe, but just because they're the top of their fields, it doesn't mean they're smart on every other aspect.
Just to quote solid snake
