Wandering mother base soldiers 01

So I picked this side-op and arrived at the destination (marker) but there's noody around. What do I do? How do I find the soldier(s) I'm supposed to extract?

Anybody had any issues with this?

Turn on your NV. They are very sensitive, and if they spot you they will cloak themself, and run away really fast.

Do you have DD? He will help mark him. Just walk around, he will be a drunk looking guy.

After extracting him, go to a door with a blue light above it on the top floor of the medical facility.

And blast out some Love Deterrence on the iDroid (i'm not joking).

He will looks like a crazy person, and run very fast when you see him.

Get on your horse, run up right along side him, he will try to attack, get off, punch him in his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ face. Then extract, done

Yes , you need to extraxt them , also there are some tips for it:

- You cant get detected by them when using cardboard box , so you can get in their face and they wont even do a thing

- you can play Love Deterrence song from the iDroid and they will get some very funny reaction when they notice Big Boss signature reaction

Those are verry easy tips

Really? I hid in a cardboard box and they always ran up to me and recognized me as Big Boss rofl

It seems I have encountered a bug. The waypoint for this mission was up on some rocks next to an enemy base, so the first thing I did was put everyone to sleep in the base. Then I went to the checkpoint and he was nowhere to be found.

Weird thing, as soon as the last person in the base woke up, he just appeared out of thin air.

I had been searching for the guy for around 5 or 7 minutes up until everybody in the base woke up. He wasn't there. He wasn't invisible either (he would have hit me at some point if he was), he just wasn't there. I don't know why the game behaved like this, but I'm glad he appeared at last, because I could finish the side-op.

So word of advice, when you do these missions, don't put anybody to sleep around the target until you get to the guy. :P

Yeah I noticed something similar I think when Quiet was on cover me. I looked around the spot he eventually appeared in multiple times. I've never had an issue when they've been out in the desert.
