Is there a cover button?

I thought MGS was a stealth game? Just did the tutorial and am already hating the auto cover system but could not find a manual button.

It's automatic. You'll get used to it eventually, though it is a bit fiddly around corners.

Most of the time you have to give yourself a little nudge into the direction of the wall before he will press up against it.

So the cover button is (tap move in direction of wall)

The cover system and fulton button being the same as climb-on-the-container-and-get-spotted-and-mowed-down button have killed me more than once.

Nudge into a wall and he'll take cover on his own. It's really frustrating sometimes because he can't take cover behind most rocks for some odd reason.... even if the rocks are flatter than a wall.

i would kill for a manual cover button. i hate the auto cover, 90% of the time that it actually works i didn't want to go into cover.. aka trying to fulton something
