How to get D-Dog?
It seems to be pretty obvious since most people are talking about unlocking him as a buddy as opposed to finding him in the first place but I can't seem to figure out where I get him? Anyone know?

For me he was just at my drop point during a mission. I fulton'd him immediately. You have 54hrs in the game I am surprised you haven't run into him yet.

A puppy will come running to you, Ocelot will say you should fulton him. Don't worry, if you haven't come across him he will just spawn some other time, Ocelot and Miller will talk about it when he's near you.

I found him in the second mission after being given the fulton, you should hear him yapping at you as you walk away from the chopper, look real carefully and hell be running up behind you.

Just listen for a puppy bark as you run about, how I found him on mission 3. If you cant see him NVG's help if it's dark anyway.

Replay the second mission. Drop in to Afganistan at the drop point near Spugmay Keep. The puppy should be there.

If not... then I would be disappointed if I were you.

also he mostly spawns there at the morning (6-10 am)

I found D-Dog in the very first Side Op. He was right there are the LZ when I started. You hear him bark and then Ocelot makes a comment about him.
