Best way to use D-walker?
Guys can see me a mile away in the day time with the ♥♥♥♥ walker, is there a good way to get around without being seen from a distance?

Stealth mode or hop off D-walker then call him later if he's still causing issues. Never got more detected being on it than off it.

So what's the point of it having tranq guns and such if it's stealth capablitys are that of a freshly made sandwich

Sneak close to enemy of foot, use the buddy command to call D-Walker, jump in and wreak havoc.

To leave enemies alive to be fultoned?

Ok great but the entire base is alerted because some guy saw you on d-walker a mile away so are they gonna be anymore effective then just being unseen on foot? see what i am saying? what is the point of d-walker or what are the best methods for use

I wouldn't use him for stealth at all. You don't sneak with mechs. You make things go boom. So use it in a straight up combat situation and tell me how that works.

Best way to use d-walker:

upgrade the CCW arm, run into an enemy base, punch everything moving.

The minigun is lackluster, the launcher only has 4 shots, and you cant aim down iron sights with the pistols.

CCW arm is love. CCW arm is life. My only regret is that I can't equip two.

well i took on heavy infantry as a full on battle mech so i see your point, but there was 2 problems very very high deployment cost and the minigun had trouble getting past there armor.

But it was fun, right? I think that's the important part.

He's also not a terrible way to travel around the world with his driving mode.

I should try that. Thanks for the advice.

.....you do if you don't have auto-aim enabled like some kind of scrub.

I know D-Walker seems pretty useless now, I thought the same thing at first. But when you get way later into the game, with a few blueprints and specialists under your belt; he can become your best buddy. With a fully upgraded gatling gun with 1500 rounds, you can make mincemeat of [EXTREME] Metallic Archaea. The intercept head is also invaluable on total stealth missions. Place him on the opposite side of the outpost you are infilitrating, with ATGMs and some good pistols, he can wreak havoc and provide the ultimate distraction. D-Walker is also good for off road traveling, not as maneuverable as D-Horse but much faster.

The fulton cannon is the best to farm ressources, it doesn't cost 10000GMP, long range and you can reload it with supply drop ( take a cheap loadout).
