How do I get the Hawk Emblem?
It's the only emblem I'm missing in the entire game.

I've tried using nothing but air support sleeping gas on multiple missions, as suggested by the emblem guides, and all I'm getting are Octopus emblems. I've even tried using supply drops as the only means of neutralizing enemies, but that didn't work either.

I'm completely stumped on what I could be doing wrong or alternate methods for acquiring it.

I did it by calling in Pequod in the middle of the enemy encampment in Mission 3, and then lobbed a Flare Grenade (Helicopter support). That'll trigger Pequod to go into a killing frenzy to clear the LZ. The target is also in the mess, so Pequod'll take him out too. If he's properly outfitted with armor and rockets, Pequod should be able to take out the encampment by himself.

I had to do this three times for the emblem to trigger, and had to get an alert once just to be certain I didn't get the Fox emblem.

Aerial Bombardments, supply drops, and sleeping gas strikes are used in getting the Whale emblem if I remember right. I got that by redoing Mission 3 three times again, but using a lethal bombardment on the target each time. Quick and easy.

I managed to do it just before your post. What I did was calling the Pequod in a safe spot in Hero's Way, then trigger an alert and let Pequod come save me. I even killed two dudes with the rifle (one was the mission target) and still got the emblem. I guess that is similar to using Flare Grenades.

Before that I tried calling Pequod on top of an enemy camp in previous missions, while also killing some enemies using the heli mounted gun. I don't know if those previous missions contributed to getting the emblem.

And I think the Whale is just bombardments. Like I said, multiple tries with sleeping gas and supply drops only gave me Octopus emblems (non-lethal neutralizations).

Anyway, thanks for the reply. A lot more useful than all those guides out there suggesting you to use aerial sleeping gas strikes for this emblem. :/
