METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

MGSV Demon point stats, how to check them with trainer/engine?
Hi!

How do I actually use this? http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=583862
It's unbelievable that there is no guide - the typical thing when trying to get help from coders is there is only the assumption that everyone knows what they are talking about.

I don't want to change the stats, I just want to check them. I open CheatEngine by opening the .CT file, pressing the PC icon and selecting the game. Then I click "First scan" (as the value for the stat is "?"). The value under address that is set for this (142AC8C68) shows up as 4294967295, and I can't have that much demon points.. so I guess I'm doing something wrong. When Searching for 4294967295 in CheatEngine, I get a quadrillion results, and extremely many are green, can't even scroll past them manually (even with the frictionless scrolling of my G502 mouse). I can however, say the results are only 8-digits and then the green ones are 12-digits. So the address 142AC8C68 I get in the list when choosing the game, does not seem to match, as I guess it should.

In all guides on youtube, you are supposed to search for a value that is in the game, then you get results and select the green value, then you double click that to add it to the list and then you change the value to change it in the game. But this isn't what I want - as I don't actually know the value, and that's what I want to find out!

Can someone make a step by step on how to actually finding the value with CheatEngine? As mentioned: I DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE IT - I just want to know if the effort is even worth it.

I have 270K heroism points and 130 hours of gameplay. It's the last 20 hours TOPS that I got the demon skin, and I haven't done much there except finnishing the last 5 main missions.. and that shouldn't raise it that much, should it?

Since it's not a value you can see it's harder to find it, even tho I got a way to find that value, but I'm not going to tell you how because I bet you'll change it's value, if you want to get rid of it search on google.

Also..... I won't help you because you have cheat engine, I don't want to help someone that can cheat and I hate cheaters with a passion !

So search on google and you'll find how to lower your demon points or live with it, because becoming demon Snake with only 5 main mission is impossible so you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up with cheat engine...

Why answer if you don't know? Or did your mother just teach you to be this rude? You think I haven't used google if I went from nothing to finding out this much about it already? It's a dead end.

I get it if you don't want to help anyone cheat if it's online gaming, though this isn't, and the full game is available on youtube, so you really think you're saving the world? Get off the horse.

You really have it bad in real life when you spend your time on comments like these, thinking you'll make any difference. In this case I want a statistic, not warp the game (don't get me started in cheats or mods - they've been around and a standard since before you saw daylight).

I have finished the game except for very minor details and happen to want the pleasure to start enjoying the game - and for me, it's knowing I won't have to give up an uncertain amount of MAJOR time in my real life, in order to try and restore the pleasure of the game again - or I should just pack it up and throw it in the garbage can. Seeing I have killed about 80% (easily) of all enemies, I'm certain the value is extreme by now.

Been a hardcore mgs fan since '99 and right now I just feel like the insults from this game does not stop coming.

I heard that there is a mod call no blood or no demon point mod.

If you use the table on the first page, It doesnt work anymore. Goto page 141 of that thread and grab that table instead.
Now in that table the demon point stat is under resources. If you want to get rid of that just chage both values to 0.

Thanks for the answer. I was just about to say I got help there. Anyhow, I'm not in this to mod the game as mentioned, now I just know that my life doesn't have to be over in order to recover (:
