Noctocyanin detramental to the FOB game?
Just been pondering today more ways on how the FOB game could be improved and my main thought was how noctocyanin removes most of the tension of infiltrations to me. I'd possibly balance this by making defender notices a bit more strict but am curious to see what other people's thoughts are

noc is op for invaders on fob. bring smoke grenades, they are good too at getting uav/camers and lethel staff off your back. but if ur detected then they wont stop the staff from seeing u even if ur inside it

don't forget the box for UAV

noctocyanin is a must have, did few infiltrations without it and it took me more time.
IMO no need for balancing it, invader already has the odds against him, if defender comes it may become very rough cause high level intel team will inform defender on every movement so it is pretty hard and noctocyanin in that case is your "equivalent" for intel team.

i have never seen the box ever be useful on fob. i see a camera or uav coming, i hide in a box and the second it sees me it sets off the alarm.

UAV sees me, I put on the mighty box, he stays for a few seconds "checking me" and moves on. Key is not to move, just sit there like an innocent box you are. Good thing if it catches you away from cover
Not sure for cameras, but works for UAV, I bring city and smoke box with me just in case

With all the BS cheats Konami keeps giving to the AI every patch we need all that lame ♥♥♥♥ we can get.

I just can't be bothered with FOB's in the state that they're in now. Too much unfair cheating by the AI and the cheaters still TP to the core in 1 second.

They need to get rid of the special alerts as soon as you land which makes snipers instantly shoot you if you do anything at all. Stop teleporting two guards on my head when I tranq gaurds from a distance. Making guards turn invisible who TP to tranq'd gaurds and wake them up.

So much BS.

How are you supposed to win FOB's these days.

You can't just crouch walk the whole way because you run the risk of being spotted. Back in October you could drop to the floor and roll and lose the trail. But now if you do that and you get spotted in front the people who were following you before continue to follow you. Before that was like ok just keep moving. Then they changed it so that the more people in suspicion mode increases the chances of snipers spotting you. So you can't do that.

So you snipe people on the last platform and before every now and then the game would tp a guard on your head. It looked like a bug but know we know it's not a bug because Konami changed it to two guards TPing on your head and way more frequent and turning guards invisible while they run around waking everyone up. I've actually seen gaurds go invisible and wake people up.

Now with the instant special alerts which put snipers into defense mode where any act of agression gets you spotted and the defender can come in at any point.

So how does Koanmi want us to win FOB's? While the cheaters cheat their way to the top I can't do ♥♥♥♥ to climb the ladder anymore. Not without huge amounts of time investment and really frustrating time of losing a lot.

Before it was just 1 or 2 people on the final platform disappearing at long ranges but now it's full blown invisibility.

yeah i had some ♥♥♥♥ where a guard i was shooting disapeared and reapeared behind me. only for me to continue to shoot him and him disapearing

Im getting spoted by guards when im in prone quiet and behind the cover.. they see me thro stairs, metal, rock, air, water, fire, vault, everywhere, also i got spoted by a soldier with 4 land containers and a building between me and soldier... as for box, if u put box its an instant spoted to me, never worked, it works WAY better that prone action that u get stealth thing (this if ur quick enough)

soldiers will spot you in the box, but UAV is stupid.
At least I've done that before, now I just shoot at the floating spawn of satan cause if it has "shooting capability up" then you don't want him there is something goes wrong

Guess Fobs will be impossible when the skulls will show up in the new update. also the custom camera placing will allow most poeple to block complete routes and not just be a difficulty anymore.

blocking all routes is impossible, but surprising the attacker sure. Camera moves, so it never covers everything.

So some paltforms vary in numbers of cameras, buts its around 8-7 cameras for each platform. bridges are chokepoints. U can either walk on the top or on the "underground" platform with all those pipes. First entry platform will have 8 cameras at one bridge, next platform will contribute 4 cameras on the same bridge. 12 cameras for 2 ways....tell me how u get through that.

About skulls. Sure brennan is your way, mine is getting a alert. going to defend and going all explosive on your ass while the skulls/soldiers play with you.

Dont forget the "out-of-nowhere" respawning. Happens a few times, but damn son, its so irritating. I had situations in which i stun a guard while no one is around, turn in another direction and BOOM - 3 guys behind me yelling "HOSTILE". WTF ?

I'm not sure if it will be possible to place camera everywhere, but even if you do, smoke is the answer you're looking for.

Brennan needs 1-2 bullets and the Skull is down, so I don't feel like Rambo mode is needed, but we'll see how soldiers react, do they become puppets (which would be neat for extracting) or they also fight somehow. It looks very hard to fight against that with anything, take heil auto grenade launcher, brennan and macht or something NL just in case (it's an OP setup) and it still seems like you won't get out easily
