Haoma farming tips?
The latest update for TPP has a LOT of Haoma-farming requirements and as such I was wondering if anyone has any good tips on finding this incredibly-rare plant. I know well the exploitation trick on Episode 3, but that's just WAAAAAY too slow. looking for a way or map to find them effeciently enough. If anyone can help me with this i'd appreciate it. :)

I'm not sure how far you've gotten into the game, but all the plants are easily obtainable through invading someones medical platform on their FOB. I was having trouble obtaining haoma and digitalis (or w/e they are called) plants, but succesfully invading a medical platform gives you about 250 of every plant. I think intel platforms also give plants.

theres 3 locations

1: go to free roam
2: go to location 1
3: pick it, return to acc
4: go to location 2
5: pick it, return to acc
6: go to location 3
7: pick it, return to acc
8: first location respawns

there ya go, make sure u use someone with botonist skill (seriously)

It says it only gives out the purple Digitalis on a Rival PF's Medical Platform. I don't want to infiltrate an FOB if it's just going to give that type of plant, are you sure it gives Haoma?

Yes, I'm sure. I know it says it gives only digitalis but it gives you all of the plants. You can try to invade the event mission to check if you don't want to invade other players. You can also farm it on the event mission. Just make sure you do the medical or intel platform.

After three fail-tastic Rival PF infiltraitions (the defender wasn't even there, making it even more humiliating... XD lol Then again, I REALLY do suck at infiltraiting another person's FOB so I guess I shouldn't be surprised tbh... ^^; ) I finally managed to get one in, albeit on a poor two deck Medical Platform, I wasn't even interested in the material containers tbh, just that Haoma. XD lol And thanks a lot, you were right. I really do appreciate this, thank you again! :D Guess i'm going to do some "New World Order" event FOB missions to get more Haoma now. ^^

There are more than 3 locations, I can think of at least 5.

I dunno where the Haoma locations are, but thanks to Mirko I now know of a MUCH more effecient albeit limited timed event that offers a MUCH more hefty amount of Haoma, rather than wandering around all over the Afghanistan deserts just for a small amount of Haoma, thank you anyways though, again I appreciate all the helpful comments, I really do mean it. ^^

I'll definitely keep your advice in mind once the "New World Order" FOB event is over though SMX87, make no mistake of that. :)

u can get 400-800 hoama and lutea doing 4/4 fob medical platforms. i maxed out them out that way.

There's also Combat Deployment missions which passively give you Haoma. These are useful to get the large numbers that you're probably going to need. If the mission isn't available, then just do the easy 6 minute missions to cycle through the available ones quickly.

that missions is lame, its like 5 days for 200 hoama. :\

I don't even see such an event on my Online Dispatch mission list anyways (it used to be there, that much I know because I do indeed remember seeing it as well, just not there anymore now of course ^^; It has a VERY low probability of success anyways, trust me, I should know since I dispatched a unit on that mission once, only to come back in complete failure after that five day wait period XD lol ) and what Melee Hell | Sexy says is true, i'd rather have the much more steadier/easier amount of around 170+ Haoma for each run of the easy "New World Order" event currently available right now. :)

No jerjare was talking about normal offline dispatch missions. The online missions are indeed super lame though, they need to really increase the rewards for those or really lower the time needed to do them.

You can get a decent amount of haoma and lutea by cycling through dispatch missions to get any missions that offer plant rewards (mostly Plants Gathering and Medical Assistance). You don't need to do the ones that specifically tell you haoma/lutea are a reward to get some haoma/lutea out of them. You will get the amount of plant resources the mission states, but only a certain percentage will be of the plant the mission says it will reward you.

Like take the "A" difficulty Plants Gathering dispatch mission. Takes a few hours to complete, says it rewards 1800 wormwood with a 79% "Acquisition Probability" You'll get 1800 plant resources out of that every time, but you'll only average 1422 wormwood out of it. The other 378 you get will be the other plant resources. It's really random though so you might only get like 500 wormwood out of it, then the remaining 1300 will be other random plants, so you might end up getting a decent amount of haoma and lutea.

It's not a ton, but it adds up over time.

Atm there are only Staff Recruitment missions in the offline dispatch missions though (said staff have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ranks such as C, E and so forth... ^^; the sort of "trash" I usually dismiss immediately when they get there due to their aforementioned ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ranks of course... :P lol ). The "New World Order" FOB event seems to do the job well enough though, that much i'm relieved about now. Now I don't need to wonder how the hell i'm going to get the extremely-rare Haoma plant now, thank goodness... XD

If you have a second or third fob you can get that many more combat deployments and things like gathering plants become much faster, both offline and online.
