METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

Does camo affect vehicles?
For example, Pequod's chopper. Will a camo make it harder to get hit? The camo stuff it's pretty left behind in this game compared to MGS3 and 4.

No, I don't think it does anything to vehicles.

Don't you feel that all the basic stuff in this game is like "figure it yourself"? XD We have to help each other and ask around internet for things like this XD

Nope & I'm wondering how a helicopter is going to blend in with the sky. I guess it will need to be painted sky blue during the day and black at night. :P

Hahaha, in fact. Fighter jets are usually painted in colors to blend in with clouds and with colors that doesn't reflect lights as much as possible in order to hide the direction the plane is flying.

Will. most camos for planes and helicopters is design to hide them when they are on the ground from enemy bombers. Also if an air base get attacked by an enemy ground force, having camouflaged planes and helicopters will make them harder to get het while on the ground. Also some camouflages are used to hide flying planes from enemy ground forces. for example most soviet planes and helicopters have their bottom's painted sky blue, to make them blend in with the sky when seen from the ground.

@ JAD + MJ

Interesting. I didn't think painting aircraft would be very effective, but that makes sense.

Apart from being a major spoiler since not everybody has ended the game, that question can't be serious.. and if it is, well...

Camo helps ground vehicles, but not poor Pequod. :(

hahaha maybe you are right. The thing is, even if spotted by its sound, camo should help to blend in and make more difficult for the enemy to hit it. It's only logical

It would help more if Pequod put his fully gimbled chainguns to use and didn't sit in a dead hover when using it. He banks and weaves when using the Rocket Pods.
