any body else having trouble with this guy? i've done the back up, back down mission 4 times in a row now and each time i extracted that guy, twice by fulton and twice by helicopter and all 4 times he isnt showing up in my motherbase at the end of the mission. iam trying to unlock DD's other outfits and to do that i need a Electrospinning specialist but i cant seem to ever get him and its really pissing me off

Kick ~20 people out of your MB before you do the mission to be sure he stays in long enough to develop.

He should appear in your Former staff logs as well. Check the last section of your staff page and look for the specialist. Should be easy enough because he'll have a skill icon near his staff grades. That's where you'll find the reason why he's getting kicked off of MB.

Most of the time though it's staff size due volunteers trying to get on MB after a successful mission. I must've gotten a wave of 30 volunteers one time from Mission 28 while hunting for S-rank staff.
