So Big Boss had that scar to hide his saw so he could escape the prison in Peace Walker but it would've carry over to MGSV but Venom Snake has no snake scar/tattoo on his chest. Was that a give away also? Was it normal since it's not even a scar?

Ishmael was the biggest give away for me. He way he acted, the way he spoke, from the moment he appeared I knew that something isn't right here.

one of the trailers before game/ the footag eis in the truth end says what about him.
The Man Who Sold The World Song intro the lyrics talk about thinking you died long ago.

Eli test are negative, which I could've thought okay if Eli never said "It's not over, not yet Snake!" & also if he didn't move like a superior human being & actually put up a good fight against Venom.
Volgin stops attacking you at the russian base likely realizes you're not the Snake he's wants.

This game constantly spoiled the twist.

The ending is definitely not in its shock factor, as the game hints at something being amiss from the very beginning.

Well, I wasn't sure if Venom wasn't hallucinating some things, but it's MGS so I should have known better that a flaming adversary that has died decades ago is as real as they get.

I approached this game with a Fight Club state of mind, so...
