Whats with the "S"nake shaped scar on the The boss naked custom?
I thought it was Big Boss who had a Snake scar on his body?

Okay I just searched, she always had it, I forgot about that, but then how did Big Boss get it? Did he just copy it in her momory?

Big Boss's scar was fake.
The Boss was the one with the real scar. They cut her child out of her body.

She gave birth on the battlefield in Normandy after being shot in the gut.

Well she was already badly wounded and was about to give birth. So while the S shape was just for symbolism purposes, the size of the scar can be justified.

Big Boss' scar was a fake. It is shown in Peace Walker that it was used in order to hide a roll of "lockpicking" tread that he uses to escape from a cell.

Hmm, you should have showed earlier when he takes off a freaking piece of wire from his skin to use as lockpick

Even being shot, I fail to see why it had to start at the shoulder and end at the hip and go between her boobs (if I remember correctly).
I always thought that the idiot who gave her the C-section didn't know what he was doing.
But I know, the symbolism is what's important. Not really complaining, just pointing out that it IS kinda silly without the context of symbolism.

I like to think that in the heat of the moment, some mistakes were made. But I don't remember the detail of her scar reaching her shoulder.

In the end though, the scar somehow dissappears after she dies, which is more unexplainable than how she got it in the first place. Yes it is pretty silly, but on the point we've both agreed upon, it's purely for symbolism.
