Starving for fuel resource
First of all let me say, that I do a lot of side ops and when I do them (not to mention main missions as well) I comb through everything. I'm very thorough, I get all the resources and everything I can extract. If I can pick it up, or put a balloon on it.....it's as good as mine. However I find myself starving with certain resources, especially fuel. I have put off upgrading my base for a bit so I can maybe try and save some more resources. Most of my base is either 3/4 or 4/4.

Is there something that maybe I don't know about that can yield me more resources?

I can't even afford to make a nuke yet and I've had the ability to for a long time, that's how starved I am.

Thanks.

Do you use the chopper to go to each individual side mission? I am not sure bu tthat might take up more fuel than necessary.

i hate to say this but have u tried fobs? you can get 100-1000 FR per fob invasion success, depending how many platforms/difficulty etc.

and of course rob their resources

The majority of those resources comes from refining the unprocessed ones. A red fuel shipping container contains 7500 fuel, and that gets processed as you play the game. If you have wormhole fultons, mission 12 has some right at the start that you could get again and again, which will get you the resources you need.

i wouldnt bother making a nuke, they can easily be stolen sadly. ur better off stealing nukes from someone else

also they dont do anything, sure they stop low heorism people from going on ur fob but if its someone with high heroism its almost certain they will reach ur nukes before ur staff will stop them

Why do I have a feeling the same person asking the ame question?

1. Play the game without rushing somewhere, this is not Need For Speed!

2. Develop wormhole fulton

3. Farm Fuel container in Hellbound mission like crazy

I've been thinking of developing a nuke just so I can get invaded. It's been 2 weeks, and no one comes by for a vist anymore. :(

I'm assuming you lack "proccessed" fuel. In that case, max out your Base Dev Team in order to process fuel at a faster rate and ammount. I've the same issue, but it's due to myself pushing the development of MB too fast, too soon and playing the game with non lethal weapons.

I may have a ton of "unproccessed" fuel, but at the current rate of ~1.2k per 'x' minutes it really takes a while to gather the 48k needed for the final struts saddly. Again, I aim to push my Base Dev team as high as it can go, but thanks to the recent event(s) in the story, things have slowed down. =[

The best places to find red fuel containers are:

The airport in africa
The oil plant in africa
The Central base in Afganistan

if you have scooped them all and want to "encourage" a new supply to steal..

I recommend you do the C2W mission 5 times in a row. Using the chopper danger high drop zone and then fire off that mini gun thats on the chopper.. get all 3 dishes, you never land and also get an insta S rating. " each time "

Each C2W run this way takes about 45 seconds.. :)

Free roam at the airport; there's lots of containers, most often the red fuel ones with 7500 fuel a piece. You will need the wormhole fulton device, though, for the 3 in the south hangar.

Just keep sending out dispatch missions for materials.
That help me recover after a cheater stole everything from me.
It didn't take long to re-gain them either, it'll also get you a good wad of cash along the way.

Also, if you go to eat dinner, do some work, or hang out with some friends somewhere. Leave the game open so you don't have to waste time sitting in game doing nothing. (I would also suggest you unplug your eathernet cable/wifi connection incase anyone decides to attack your base while you're gone.)
