This damnable Kikongo. I hate the game now.

So I gotta quarantine everyone who speaks Kikongo after Mission 25.
When has Kikongo become a global language? Every damn soldier speaks Kikongo, and I now have to quarantine 400+ of them. 400!!!!!

And I have read that I will lose all of them when I don't bother quarantining and cut through the missions until the infection is cured.

Really? I would love to get alone on a broken elevator with the sadistic ♥♥♥♥ who had this brilliant idea.

What would you guys do? Quarantine them all, or play the main missions? Do I get a different outcome / event when I have zero casualty??

Not sure if you'll lose all, but even if you do the game tosses new recruits pretty generously at you, not to mention that you get access to higher-grade ones (S) only afterwards. So, no big loss really, as far as I was concerned. Didn't count my loss though. I rushed the story and went on.

I didn't quarantine anyone, but only because I didn't realize it was about the languages (as an excuse: I didn't try very hard to begin with).

NO...quarantine the sick people and rush missions. You should have rushed the missions as soon as this went down. I quarantined like 2 or 3 people.

they die very slowly in quarantine, you'll have a death toll in the single digits if you do the next two missions quickly

HEY, it happened just now, and I'm combing through the list.
And because I liked to upgrade my base first before proceeding with the missions, I have more than 400 people who speak Kikongo.

ONLY Symptomatic people are lost, even when you find a cure, those that are symptomatic(they are forced into Quarantine and have the word 'Symptomatic' on their health bar) still die. Non-symptomatic individuals that are quarantined are given a stay of execution indefinatly until you find a cure provided they stay in on the quarantine platform.

there is no different outcome regardless... the conditions of the infection vector is kinda stupid... and the 'vaccination' is doubly so.

The whole sequence which went on explaining what the infection was, and how the cure that you're given by the 'expert' works, should be a somber reminder of why you should get a second opinion from doctors.

I quarantined them, it was a pain in the ass.

Honestly, they should have allowed some option to sort by language or something, so once you solved the bloody puzzly it wouldn't take half an hour to employ it.

I think I put away 200 guys and lost 8. Pretty good going. But I do agree that this whilst interesting makes for a complete pain in the game.

i didnt do anything cause i cba to sort though it. so i just focus on main missions until it was cured. im sure i lost quite afew but who cares i play it enough to get more people prity fast anyway

but yeah just play more and youll get your motherbase staff up in no time, the 400 youre losing are probably all E ratings anyway

My soldiers are all ranked between A++ and C, as I spent countless hours (most of my playtime) playing side missions and getting good people.
But I think I should just play the missions, ignoring them dying. I heard there is a way to edit the soldiers' ranks. They can't force me to grind all over again.
