This isnt a discussion about if her revealing outfit is sexist or not, or if the explanation was really more of a rationalization instead. What Im curious about... is if she needs to show all the skin to breath and to absorb sunlight like a plant... why one solid black latex glove? Someone said it supposedly helps in her role as a sniper, but again I dont understand it. If its just to provide some sort of cushion for when shes holding the gun she could have certainly got something softer and more breathable.

I unno... does anyone know if the glove is actually explained in the game somewhere or if not, what's your rationalization of the purpose of it?

it's been awhile since i have played, but it's on her left arm, right? if so, it's probably to rest the sniper on. but... eh. thats all i can really come up with right now, I'm sure someone else might have a better idea
if its on her right hand, then it might have something to do with pulling the trigger.

Possibly helps with her grip. I know a few tricks when firing a rifle from certain positions (can't always be prone) and wrapping your arm with something and gripping the forestock with the inside of your elbow can be helpful for steadying your aim.

I should clarify that the wrapping is mostly used for comfort, as gripping the stock like that for extend periods (and firing) can rub the skin raw.

So Im guessing no one specifically mentions the glove in any of the recordings. But yea its the glove on her left arm, full length going almost up to the armpit. Id rather it have been like some armor straps or something. Would provide protection, work to keep the gun from rubbing or whatever, and cover less so she can still eat/breathe with it.

Not really sure the purpose of her pantyhose either honestly, all the rips in it bug me sorta. I can spend all this money on R&D and cant buy her a pack of panty hose to run around in? o.O

Panty hose rips if you even look at it funny, let alone dashing about around rocks/tall razor like grass in a combat enviroment. You'd bankrupt Diamond Dogs just keeping her outfitted with new stockings.

Also, ripped hose was the bees knees back in the 80's. Thought it looked tackey back then when I was kid, and....yep, still tackey.

Stefanie Joosten is lovely but I have to say though that Quiet's default attire is rather alluring, if she was to bare any less then i'm afraid that voyeurism and paraphilia are not titles I would want to don

Well, her Glove probably serves dual purpose.
1) it increases her grip. Not sure hwo efefctive it is, but a good view frinds of mien who do shooting in non-prone positions swear on gloves.

2) it probbaly also serves in part as protection. consideirng the extremely high rate of fire 8for a sniper) she pulls off, especialy with the sinful buterfly (The heavy Anti-material one) the barrels and such ar eboudn to heat up a good few degrees, so she might be using it to prevent egtting a burn when touching it for holding.

Aside of that, in reality its because it#s supposed to look cool/god/sexy in some way (don#t froget, it's japanese...)
