Well seeing as your mind is set then I guess you have to pick the only other option.
Live and learn. Make backups.
And that's fine, your mind is made up.
But yeah, spending that amount of money on downloading that again is a giant waste of money for sure.
Might be an odd question but let's say it was a thing that could be done, what point would there be in me sending/you downloading the same file at, probably, the same size?
It's not gonna change a thing wether you're downloading it from me or Steam.
