Secret Easter Egg on Mission 4: C2W

[Dearly Beloved]

In Missions 4: C2W where the objective is to destroy the Soviet comms equipment, you'll receieve a different dialogue from Kaz during the helicopter briefing on your way to the drop point IF you do the following steps:

1. Just complete the mission twice in a row. (blow up the comms equipement to be more precise)

That's it. That's all you have to do. (Special guest: Ocelot)


It's a simple easter egg yet I have not seen any videos of it in youtube. Spread the EE!

I don't know if they fixed it, but if you do that you get a - ranking, which doesn't count for S rankings and locks you out of getting the unlocks for all S ranks.

I think they patched it because of the aformentioned bug, now it looks like the comms equipment respawns every time you try the mission. Before if you had destroyed them and then did the mission, even if from free roaming, ocelot and miller would exclaim about how the mission was already done, and that there was no use in being there anymore.

I did it by mistake on my first time, I was just done extracting the interpreter and was running around, then chose that mission and that happened, I got no rank for completing it

Yeah there is an easter egg but it got you the null rank which screwed your game. From what I can tell you can't get the easter egg or null rank anymore. I just tried it earlier and they respawned every time. But people who already have the null rank are screwed. Sort of like how they patched out the weapon exploit but did nothing to retroactively remove weapons already glitched.
