Quote chain!

Semi related: A decent modder can use the in game assests to recreate the outfit via a mod. It would have to replace an existing camo set, but it'd still work. I'm guessing no one has figured out how to export the textures yet...otherwise Nexus would be flooded with texture swap mods.

They could use the ocelot unit from the cutscenes to make that file work.

Yep. Like I said, any in-game assets can easily be used to recreate something by someone skilled enough, it's just a matter of being able export them. Modders are notoriously lazy when it comes to that (if no easy method exists) so that's likely why the Nexus isn't drowning in retexture mods for TPP yet.

Scroll down to find a amount of progress done on the texture files. Not alot if you ask me.

The also might be something else modders need to do to make texture mods work.
