Metal Gear Solid V TPP 21:9 FIX

New Update: Markers fix and 21:9 fix after latest patch.

Download this program: http://www.wsgf.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=163771#p163771 and select the resolution and click patch, then you will have to go to game folder and select mgstpp.exe. This enables 21:9 resolution again.

Marker fix is a little bit tricky. This one ive found by myself.
Download and install Cheat Engine: http://www.cheatengine.org/downloads.php
Download a table that ive found on WSGF and modded to 2560x1080 or 3440x1440: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4kUHTXGxdygMHR0SjQzZGFtbkk

Now lets work

Open the game, alt+tab it and open the table, if cheat engine is installed, it will open.
Now youll have to click on the computer icon that is flashing and select mgstpp process.
Notice that there are 3 options to mark. Mark all 3 and change the value that is "64" to "85,33370". This will resize the markers, because the marker fix increase they size.

Thats it. All done. Go play the game until the next update.

Note: You will have to do the marker process every ♥♥♥♥ing time that you start the game. So, resuming, all you have to do is: open the game, open the table, select mgstpp process, check all 3 boxes on cheat engine, change the value from 64 to 85,33370, or just 85 and then close cheat engine.
Note²: This may work in MGO, but probably will give you a vac ban. So, use it at your own risk.

Idk, it's more of a stress reliever for me. I have a really nice 21:9 (34UC87C) and most of everything that I use supports 21:9. The whole experience of a curved 21:9 really takes you out of the world and drops you into the game/movie.

If I feel so passionate about curved 21:9, VR should be a game changer.

I really don't understand why it's impossible to play in wide screen without a patch. This is a big successful game, they could add a little option...

for those who are still having problems, I figured out something


I've try every fix that I could find, but nothing really worked, so just for testing I plugged my controller and tried to play the game with it, it worked just fine, no problems at all, I exit the game and tried again 3 more times just to make sure it was working.

I hope I could help, try using the controller to play the game, I was trying with mouse and keyboard and the game crashed every time. My controller is a PS3 dualshok 3 and I use the Motionjoy to emulate a 360 gamepad

I'm sorry, I started this thread a long long time ago, and I really don't tend to it anymore. I've stopped playing MGSV:TPP quite a long time ago.

If you need help involving a widescreen fix with this game, I highly suggest taking a look at the WSGF, and posting there if your problem isn't solved.

Sadly the WSGF website doesn't work anymore, though their Discord has lots of people helping each other with download links for things to fix 21:9 in games that don't support it (which isn't a lot of games, very few in my library of 830 Steam games does not support 21:9, and those that don't have easily found patches to fix it).

Just looking for the marker fix download for CheatEngine to get the markers fixed in MGS5TPP, sadly everyones Google Drive downloads are gone or do not work because Google detects the zip file as a virus. Need the Marker Fix download link that is working and can be downloaded by other people.
