Are you currently running mods? if not try verifying your game files you might have corrupted files or a file missing this generally fixes these issues.
Ok joke aside I don't know, we could use some more infos on your OS and PC build as something may have been changed. Also check that the game actualy play online, turn your antivirus off and if that doesn't help then keep us informed.

I can literally go prove when I bought it from steam, so it's not a "Yar-har" issue like most people seem to assume. Hell, I'd probably have an easier time running the game if I did
I think it has something to do with the way they're listing the game now. It's effectively removed access to the game post purchase because it's not the "new" listing of the game.
Edit:
So...the issue is running STEAM, not the game, but STEAM ITSELF in admin mode.
For some reason, due to the whackass way the game was coded, it only launches then.
Any other attempts failed. (I have no Antivirus, so firewall blocking it isn't a possibility, I have no other outside programs that would ever even remotely interfere with a game reaching the Steam API)
Maybe give that a shot?
Edit: I was able to get it to launch using this ( http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679)

Thanks a million to whoever it was, who provided that suggestion! May God bless you and multiply your sucesses!!!
