"Take me off the grid V2" is also great for anyone like yourself seeking to play the game exclusively offline.
Anyway I don't use mods or anything like that.
Don't fall for the trap. There is no single player in this game. FOB is woven into the fabric of what the game is starting at mission 22. There are goals are to develop your FOB and must have weapons that you can't develop without securing the blueprint for them which is done from FOB Events. (Non-player attacks of FOB) Basically they're AI bases. You need to be connected to do those and yeah, you connect and attempt anything relating to those and you will have an online FOB just like everybody else.
The bad, there is none, it's only in your mind that it's bad. People have a perception that OMG my base got attack, I must retaliate. No, Ignore the one-offs, they'll happen. They aren't a problem if you ignore them. They'll drop from your retaliate list in 30 days. If you ignore them, they will only find you randomly.
The Good, FOB is the fastest way to earn any resource you need for literally anything in the game. Weapons development, FOB development, Item development. FOB is the fastest way. Plus GMP is earned at an extremely accelerated rate.
Finding you specifically out of the 670000+ bases is slim to rare. If you attack 3 bases per day from the infiltration Targets list, it will be MONTHS before you get attacked once and you will have raked in a bookoo ton of resources and GMP. 99% of those bases are abandoned. I used to do 10 a day for years. The random person hitting me would be like maybe once every couple months doing 10 a day. Call that 600 infiltrations to 1. You will come out heavily on top. It's those who feel like they need to retaliate and start wars with people that they find themselves in trouble.
Successful infiltrations does take a while to get good at, but practice makes perfect and once you got it, you will unlock a whole lot more. If nothing else, but for the RP. You can only get that from the Event FOB.
I mean, if all you want is the weapons, you can just play the Event FOB and never attack a target. Some random person will still find you maybe once every 6 months, but again, it's only a perception of being attacked. It's completely insignificant, even if you're just playing the Event, which is attacking an AI that can't attack back.
I say, keep your stuff plugged in, learn FOB and reap the benefits. The trap is in thinking it's a problem in the first place.
Whatever you may end up losing because of invasions (very rare nowadays, game's kinda dead) you can easily recover tenfold very easily.
Anyway, have fun fultoning containers on the map.

If you will never share with anyone then family share with another steam account, after that play mgs v on it and always decline the terms and services , everything would work as normal except you'll not be connected online unless you accept terms of services, go to mgo3 menu, connect online option in start button
I call BS on that one, but it's no surprise you resort to cheats and hacks with this mentality. FOB is the key to freedom. It's your financing and your resources. Attacks on you personally are minimal. You can easily gain 10000x the resources of what any one person could possibly take from you.
fob hacks exist where they drain your resources and your men
Right, that's exactly what I'm saying to that person that uses such a hack to cheat then tries to participate in the forums like people don't know and can't put 2 and 2 together to know that they're the one who did it.
The premise and legit gameplay behind the game is exactly what I said it is. It's only the cheats like the guy I was responding to. I keep backups of my saves, so I don't worry about it at all. I just restore a save and I'm back to where I was before he attacked me. That wasn't what I was talking about. They're not going after noobs anyway. They're going after those of us with 2500+ S++ and 9 years of resource harvesting because he's too lazy to do it legitimately.
but a save doesn't effect your online data or am i not understanding something here?
