E.g. it is an elimination mission but where did they say that you can't fulton him? They didn't. It's all up to your imagination. Contract says "kill". But you have a choice of your own.
As Miller himself says, the mission is to kill the target, but you can always lie to your client by capturing them instead.
(Except in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mission with the child soldier prisoners where Miller tries to misleading you into killing an innocent soldier)
"Stamina" been used ever since MGS3. In MGS4 and MGS PW it was called "Psyche", and in this game, it doesn't have an official name as far as I know
(the blue bar is invisible and has no name)
"Sortie" is a term used for solo missions.
"Buddy" work just as fine if they used "Pet" instead.
You feel awkward about calling a robot your "buddy" but doesn't about calling a horse your "partner"? What's wrong with you. Robots have feelings too!
And I see no reason why those suggestions are any more valid than Buddy. War Buddies? You're sharing experiences and camaraderie is a theme that's been emphasised in previous games many times. Sidekick makes you sound like a spandex superhero while Partner undermines that fact that you are the one calling the shots.
Eliminate is a bit misleading but it's clear enough to me that any method of neutralising a threat is going to work out the same. But I still wouldn't use Neutralise because that implies you only need to sleep/stun people. Same goes for subdue. I'd switch with "remove enemy threat". Though I'm part thinking the game wants you to figure out the alternative for yourself, as implied by some of the dialogue that Ocelot gives you when you extract certain objective related enemies.
Both Stamina and Endurance don't fit for me. Endurance makes me think of the mileage something can take. Other games reference it to measure health capacity or defense as well as stamina. I would rather see something like Alertness or Alert Lvl.
fultoning and killing, you get that from conversations with Miller, I just fultoned target cause it made sense for Ocelot to play with them and maybe learn something, first time I did it is Red Brass.
sortie in okayish, and buddy works fine cause side-kick gives you less intimacy, I'd never call my dog a side-kick
Kinky
