I think he is more afraid if hackers could push a virus into your PC throught MGO, as he menttioned that aspect of the game.

And I seriously doubt so, it is true is kind of fishy we play on player's "servers" instead of a server held by Konami. But I understand why you are worried.

The only extreme issue "hackers" theoritically might be able to cause to your machine is over heating due to a severe hard lock of a game.

I personally know no one who has ever experienced that, but I have heard stories.
