What does that mean?
Quitting Leaving KONAMI is a test?
That was a forced retirement, wasn't it? You say that like he's the guilty party.
No, but I did play and fully completed MGS: Peace Walker.
I don't see what this has to do with anything, I didn't even mention Portable Ops, but Kojima himself said the main story of PO was canon, the side content wasn't.
I know, I've played every MGS game.
No, it's a reiteration of how it was done in Peace Walker, and saying that the Paz content is any kind of cover up is just doing a disservice to the only part of the game that actually has some personal meaning behind it.
That's your loss, then.
It doesn't, but the point of the game isn't to -be- epic like previous MGS games, the team behind it constantly spoke about how the action was left on the player's hands, the story that is told to you isn't that important (because frankly, even with Mission 51 it's just as irrelevant as it gets), it's all about the stories you create on the battlefield, about your perfect infiltrations or you sudden failures. It's a lore unappropiate game that rewards lore appropiate gameplay, and that reward is something that you won't find in any other MGS game. Compromises were made with The Phantom Pain but I can't say I feel bad about the trade offs that we recieved in exchange for the trademark cutscenes.
Besides, the game already has 3 endings, 4 if you count Paz, I think it's really mostly about player agency and how long you wanna go on. Contrary to Raiden who takes away our control by rejecting our input over him, Venom actually accepts our existance and hence the game lives on forever as long as the player, the avatar, decides so.
All in all, I can't help but feel that MGSV is a convoluted commentary about memes, ideals, and legends. Fans begged for a game where they could play as Big Boss, and they literally got a game where you can play AS Big Boss. And I honestly feel it's unfair to expect this game to ever bring any closure to anything, we already got that game and that was MGS4. MGSV is merely a bridge, and it does so by explaining a few elements from the other games.
welcome to real life.
you will find most things do not live up to a fantasy where everyone has infinite money and is tasked with satiating your consumer ego
Your comparison is ironic because no one is getting in your face about this, you decided to get in this thread and started spamming it for no reason. No one is affecting or ruining your game, you decided to jump into someone's face and started ruining it. You're the one yelling at his face for complainig in his own corner.
yes they promised an epic story and delivered a game that stretched out across 2 titles (GZ and TPP) takes place on 2 continents (when most open world games have 1) includes 1 ending and 2 secret endings and a 4th ending based on post-game meta story.
im sorry, what did they promise that they didn't deliver?
im just tired so seeing these whiny ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
lol this is not his corner. this is a public forum on a consumer website. i bought the game i have every right to be here.
maybe tone police somewhere else if that's how you get your kicks
