Dolphin diving
Please nerf...

....so you can't dolphin dive around the map faster than you can sprint. Just give it a .5 second cooldown.

Its when you hit space to do that Dive, you can jump quite a distance and knock down an opponent in CQC with it fairly easily if well aimed

i do dolphin diving quite often in main campaign too. its when you hit space bar to dive then quickly "get up" by pressing sprint button then pressing space again immediately, doing this action repeatedly will make you look like a dolphin jumping in the sunset across the sea.

the benifit of the manuever keeps you proned while having rediculous speed.

It just makes no sense to allow users to spam it that fast, you can cover distances faster with diving that you can sprinting... without revealing yourself on radar (I think). Even in Ocarina of Time there is a slight delay before you can roll after a roll.

You do. When you fast dive, you generate the same giant red circle as you would do sprinting or firing your weapon. There's also the added downside of not being able to fire for a second upon landing and you can't change direction mid dive, so it isn't that useful. Besides, it also loud as all hell.

Ecco Diving isn't all that useful, it's super easy for someone to kill you while you're unable to do anything.

Actually mastering the dive bringing surviveability to the next level, very useful for Enforcer class against Infiltrators. I agreee with OP, mechanics should be changed a bit, too much room for abuse after somone masters it.
