Nope. You'll have to turn it off manually from your PC settings.

This is a pretty massive oversight. Games I join instantly turn into horrendous feedback loops from all of the open mics.

This does not work. I take my mic out of my PC but the game still thinks it is plugged in so it just plays some sort of white or pink noise that annoys other people..

It is not just me, I am playing with people without mic but can still hear noises from them unless I muted them, I messaged them and they say they don't have any mic plugged into their PC but the game thinks they do.

I even restarted the game without any mic at all, it still thinks I have one plugged in, I do not have this issue with other multiplayer games.

There has been an official annoucement on their twitter. There was suppose to be a push to talk in place but for some reason isn't working. It's currently removed until they find a fix.

I just mute everyone on my team before the match starts.

I found a solution by just disable the mic from Recording Devices.
Shork Jan 20, 2016 @ 11:54pm
Set one of your virtual recording devices (if you have any, if not, there's software to create them) as default recording device (check both).
Did that as well. The game can't record my mic anymore while I still can use it to talk with people via other programs.

Late reply. They have added the push-to-talk feature should be at Sound Settings or somesorts :)
