Who are the second and first children?

Mantis is referred to as "the Third Child" in the game but I don't see any reference to the first or second. Who are they?

i presume it has to do with other children who had amazing psychic abilitys they were running experiments on. but for one reason or another are not around anymore and psycho mantis is the third one they had.

As of right now we have no way of knowing how many psychic children the Soviets were experimenting on, all we know is that Mantis was labeled as the third.
