Games i played.
Metal Gear MSX
Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake MSX
Metal Gear NES
Metal Gear Snakes Revenge (Its good, dont listen to the haters)
Metal Gear Solid 1
Metal Gear Solid 2
Metal Gear Solid 3 (Arguably best in MGS series)
Metal Gear Solid 4
Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker (Weird game, didnt like it)
Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes (Mediocre feel of Splinter Cell... but better than Phantom Pain)
Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain (Really boring. Literal sandbox. Unlike Simpsons Hit and Run game, this is not open world as much an illusion of one.)

Like MGS3 i think is perfect example "Well maybe not perfect but pretty close" to what a perfect MGS gameplay looks like. Which is play around with items or things on how to bypass enemies. Long task (Which with MGSV feels too much like Splinter Cell).
I think only reason they cant make you go through a long level is maybe Kojima or team would feel too tired to design such mission operations. But interms of MG1 or others. It has always been about long difficult tasks. Which feels extra rewarding once you complete!
Edit: exactly! give me the awards instead lmao
But didnt Kojima overspend it on Silent Hill ads to Playstation or something, and never getting it done interms of the deadline? Rumors i heard.
