I've seen it in action in a video, though it is a tad suspect. And I've got to say, I'm not impressed. The radius is quite small (only about the size of a head) whereas the Zorn has a radius of about 5 meters. But I'll have to see it for myself.
Sure. I was just pointing out that if they'd put out only ★9 version we'd have to wait longer before we'd be able to try it in action. Now I can develop ★7 and see if I need ★9 all that much.
You know, if a weapon or an item takes too long to develop and then when you finally get it and it turns out to be something you wouldn't use at all, it's such a disappointment.
The following is a video of said pistol in action, but you should always try it out before judging whether or not it's worth it.

And here's a video of a small detail about revolvers that I previously did not know about.

And it's because that revolver has high penetration I think.
The revolver has a penetration similar to most of the sniper rifles and 9mm pistols, but I don't remember them being able to penetrate the helmets of those riot suits.
Based on how small the volume of gas is, I would have to say no.
thanks again for the vids, and with the revolvers, yes they have very high pen and impact similar to a shotgun slug, but are rather inaccurate at range and have limited ammo. One of my favorite pistols for fob defense was the Uragan-Air for awhile. It is basicaly a S1000 NL shot (1 shot stuns even thru helmets) in a pistol. but suffers from alot of falloff and range issues.
Well, at least it takes a headshot, not a faceshot. Seems more practical than all the tranq pistols. The relevant nunce here is how the guards react to it. Do they react as if someone got shot (like with S1000) or as just fell down (liek with tranq pistols).
It's the same reaction as they get when they suddenly fall asleep.
There's a problem though, the way the gun is coded like makes it so the other guards react to the "smoke" close to the body rather than the asleep guard, which means this gun is a pretty much guaranteed soft alert if any guard is remotely close to him.
It's really not worth it at all, and the deployment costs are absurd and it has low ammo. Stick to other guns.
The Zorn is considered a grenade launcher hence it's not a silent weapon. On the other side, the AM A114 is fully silent and almost act like a Zzz handgun. This gun is a real monster in lethal FOB, just like the WU S. +SB pistol is in non lethal. Besides, the smoke AoE dissipates faster than some usual sleeping grenade launcher, making it stealthier if used efficiently.
The only drawback I could find is that security staff can see the smoke very well and at very good range if they get it in their line of sight.
