Error Code 10012

Haven't had this problem since launch, and I've put about 260 hours into the game thus far. Every time I launch the game singleplayer or MGO I get the error code. I've tried reinstalling and verifying my game files but neither have worked. I seem to be the only one with this problem since I have friends who can get on just fine. One said to me that the game has been broken for other people as well due to a steam update or something. I'm wondering if this is true and if there is any fix.
