Problem buying MB coins - Help please

Hello, I have a problem with the game. I want to buy MB coins to use them in the game, but when I try to do so, the screen gets stuck loading and nothing happens. I have tried several times, but the problem persists.

I have contacted Steam support and they have told me to communicate with Konami support, but I have not received a response yet. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Does anyone else have the same problem?

I would appreciate any help or advice you can give me. Thanks in advance.

I really wouldn’t buy coins at this stage. I know there are things you want to buy with coins, but honestly don’t give Konami anymore of your hard cash.

I appreciate your comment very much, but the truth is that I want to improve my additional FOBs. That is the reason why I want to buy MB coins. Do you know how I can solve this problem?

hey it's your money, and you got the prerequisite warning, so how are you going about it?

If you do it in-game, you have to do it from ACC only, not in-mission or on motherbase... but you can probably just do it via steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/437233/METAL_GEAR_SOLID_V_THE_PHANTOM_PAIN__MB_Coin_2000/

Thank you for your reply, but I already know that. What I want is to buy MB coins with real money, not just receive the ones they give for logging in. I have enough money on my credit card and in my Steam wallet, but when I try to buy the MB coins, the screen gets stuck loading and nothing happens. Do you know how to fix this problem? Thank you for your reply, but what warning? I didn’t get any. I already bought the 2,000 MB and it can only be done once per Steam account and I really need more. Could you help me with this problem of buying from the game store as I said? I have tried to do it from ACC, but it doesn’t work. The screen stays loading and nothing happens. Since the MGSV shop uses the Steam overlay, I'll recommend you to check the settings in the Steam software side.

Also, I'll recommend you to check if you have the same issue in other games that you have in your library to confirm if it's an issue in the overlay's side, or with the game's side.

Ok, I just bought 100MB for testing purposes without any issues, so this is most likely an issue with the configuration of the Steam overlay with your game or perhaps missing drivers.

The in-game shop is working properly.

Ok, I just bought 100MB for testing purposes without any issues, so this is most likely an issue with the configuration of the Steam overlay with your game or perhaps missing drivers.

The in-game shop is working properly.

The "warning" was by Natty telling you that you shouldn't do it, the game is devoid of players, many rampant cheaters in multiplayer and FOB missions, and you're going to spend money to get taken advantage of, because once you buy up there and get in the top 1000 or so, you make yourself a target... although some people are just bored and love causing chaos so even low level people get targeted. (normally you don't get offered people lower than you by more than 1 level, but 2000 coins could max out that 4th platform pretty fast, since saving up 1100 or 1200 takes months...

Gracias por tu advertencia, Natty. Sé que el juego tiene sus problemas, pero para mí no hay problema porque yo quiero comprar MB coins y disfrutar del juego a mi manera. No me importa si me atacan o si hay tramposos, solo quiero divertirme y probar cosas nuevas.

Ok, I watched that video and I can 100% confirm that there's an issue with the configuration of the Steam Overlay in your setup. This is not a server error or Konami issue, this is an issue with your client.

I'll recommend you to ask Steam Customer for assistance with your Steam overlay because basically, when you select the amount to purchase, immediately after that, you should get a pop-out with the Steam Overlay to put your credit card information or if it's already saved, you can select to add funds to buy the selected amount of MB Coins.

Since that screen is not showing up, the Steam overlay is not configured properly on your setup.

Just tell Steam Customer Service that the Steam overlay screen to select or add payment information is not showing up when making a purchase in-game, and you can proceed from there with them.

No need to report to it to Konami since it's not a Konami issue, it's a Steam overlay issue in your computer setup.
