Bruh. I give you an example as to why he's a hack, and you say it's "unrelated"? Nice try trying to derail a post that directly disproves your initial argument though.
I hope you realize that starting a sentence with Bruh makes you sound like an uneducated douchebag and thus everything that comes after bruh comes into question as to it's truthfulness and reliability.
Take that for what it's worth "bruh".
"Bruh" is a very stupid word altogether LOL
I agree.
So far Konami hasn't done anything with the engine they fought for, making it a mystery why they asked at all.
Unless they decided to scrap it during mgs v's production.
And from what I know, Fox engine doesn't support mobile platform. Konami always used Unreal for PES mobile.
We have to also bring the sales of Ground Zeroes into this. It was originally going to be released as a 40 dollars game but it became 30. (So they got much less money from it than what they anticipated)
And in the end, GZ sold like how many copies ? The last official claim was 1 million copies which might have not been good for that game.
If anything I'd like to see a sequel of MGRR. I really liked how MGR resolved his internal struggle with being a born and raised killer trying to make the world a better place, without falling to the ends-justify-the-means extremism of people like Solidus and Armstrong. It would be cool to see how his character evolves from that point, although at this point in the Metal Gear timeline there's a pretty dire lack of major villains/antagonists like the Patriots, Ocelot, Solidus, Armstrong, etc. Man, I wish MGR was canon :(
There's this strange effect where as a franchise just starts hitting pop culture, its existing titles still don't necessarily start taking off in sales, but the NEXT game in the series goes massive on sales. I would bet money that a sequel to MGR will go hard as a result of what has happened around the game lately. There will be tons of articles about it and people will pay attention, and it will sell well. But the problem is that Kojima needs to be involved, so either have him and some of his team do a partnership with Konami, or Kojima can just buy the rights to Metal Gear in its entirety. Either way, a MGR sequel is 100% the smartest next move besides the remakes. MGS4 being released on any modern platform is also high on the list.
Metal gear and silent hill were their side gigs in the mid 20s. Afterthoughts now.
They have an entire slot machine empire as well that seems to never be talked about in relation to Konami. Go in any casino and half the machines are made by Konami.
Silent Hill used to have the Pachinko Machines version, if I have to recall
