Report a translation problem
From what I've seen, it only happens when you execute special moves. Disarms (with guns which is left click quickly followed by a right click, or knives, which is a left click as the enemy is drawing a knife), the 3 and 5 click combos, and consequtive take downs (any directional input followed by a left click when multiple targets are in an area around the player character).
I don't think there is a way to disable this, the only way to not see them is to avoid them and stick with guns and grenades.
Well, either way, the only way to not see them is to not do CQC.
Also you lose Reflex mode, but y'know.
