goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\{yoursteamaccnumber}\287700\local\

and edit TPP_GRAPHICS_CONFIG

"framerate_control" : "Auto", to "framerate_control" : "Variable",

this is frm the old post but should work

Does this not cause any problems? Many games are developed for 60 and not more. Just wondering.

it can cause problems, FoxEngine still has problems very high FPS can mess it up, that's why Konami put the limiter there

still worth to try and if it crashes or something just put it back as it was

It's always fun to try these things though. I once played Dark Souls with 144 FPS (made for 30) and running actually made me slower :D

yeah, here also it can mess up the gameplay speed, at least that's what I heard

I've been playing in 120hz since the game launched and so far I have 700h +, never had a problem caused by the framerate. In GZ, it used to mess up the grenade physics and such, but for TPP there are no issues.

Thanks, that worked fine for me.

Are you getting actual 144 fps? I cant go above ~110 on 1080Ti and this is quite similar to gtx 970. Even on lower settings.
I wasn't getting the full 144 all the time, but the cap was definitely gone
Tenfilip Oct 2, 2019 @ 2:10am
Yeah, so I managed to have the cap gone, but it seems like there is still no chance of getting above 115 fps - even though my GPU is at~ 75% load. Maybe it's the CPU (8770k) bottleneck? I need to see the single thread usage.
Tenfilip Oct 2, 2019 @ 2:20am
Nope, the CPU also is not used in 100%, not a single thread:/ Any idea here?

Please do not spread misinformation about high framerate in tpp. There is no problem to the gameplay of the game with high framerate.

whats your max framerate?
Aerosplinter Dec 2, 2023 @ 12:30pm
Usually my max frame rate is at 100-120fps, on an RTX 3090 at 1440p. Is it because of how the engine works?
