motherbase staff and capacity?

So I've reached 1400 (with both MB and the free FOB fully developed). But it seems that I can no longer get anyone without the game auto-dismissing my existing staff. But the way it does it is really annoying. Sometimes I would get a few C or B volunteers through dispatch missions, but the game would somehow auto-dismiss some A+ or A soldiers to make place for them. What on earth?? I know this by looking at the dismiss column, and it would show plenty of A and A+ guys whom I never dismissed, and there are somehow some crappy C or B staffs in some platforms when previously there were all at least A.

Also my security team only has 160/200 spot filled, and 1 or 2 other platforms also haven't reached full capacity. But I can no longer take people. All my staffs are at least A. But my most advanced is only at lv 73, and security team at lv 49.

So is the only way to reach the ridiculous high requirement like lv 112 to develop some weapons to buy the MB coin and get more FOBs? How much space each one (once fully developed) provides?

Staff capacity is 100 people per unit, per base. Even if you have platforms that have not finished their consturction or construction on which has not been started, you will be capped at 700 staff per base. This number will include those in your brig, (NOT the FOB Brig), sickbay, and waiting room.

So I guess having a fully developed FOB will double that number, since mine's at 1400.
But I'm surprised to learn that waiting room is included in that capacity, I was always under the impression that it had infinite capacity and you could just toss anyone you don't want in there without worrying about them taking space.

The waiting room IS inifnite, you can put all 1400 soldiers in there. That's not the problem. There are two staff limits. One is the soft limit of how many places are available per platform for staff to actually work in. That is upgraded by adding struts to the platforms up to 4/4. The other limit is a hard total limit of 700 staff per FOB. This is something like a limit on how many people can just live at Motherbase, including waiting room, sick room and bridge staff.

ok yeah that's what I meant. There is only 1400 slots on MB + 1 FOB, so there's no way of increasing that by simply placing people in the waiting room, because that counts in the 1400 as well.
Guess the only way to advance higher in level past the 70s is by purchasing another FOB then...

It's 700 per base you have. 700 on Mother Base, and 700 per FOB in your possession.

It's 700 per base you have. 700 on Mother Base, and 700 per FOB in your possession.

I have a total space of 1400 on MB, like I can assign 200 to each of the platform.

You can get to level 99 with 1400 staff but you need to do FOB events or infiltrations to get S+ and S++ staff. Level >100 might still be possible but I'm not sure how feasible.

yeah I did quite a few high rank FOB infiltrations, but I probably got like 1-2 S+ guys and 30 other S and A++ guys. Takes way too long.

just look who has hundreds of S+ and S++ guys assigned to fob, cause several of them will just go to your brig after successful infiltration, no need to fulton

Log in every day until you get 500 mb coins then buy the next FOB. You can max most of it with that one. You can develop all offline items with the base + free FOB. Then when you get the second FOB you can research all/most of the online items.

so i'm too don't completely get it how's that suppose to work if you want to develop golden items. as i have almost completed both of my mother base and FOB bases and have high level 1400 members but still i'm way to short to get to level i need to be to buy golden items. i think i would have to build at least one more FOB to develop most of them. and i'm not really into buying MB coins unless it's very reasonable priced? of which i have no clue, as i can't buy them for some reason. i tried to launch game in fullscreen and windowed mode, but once i get to the store and press on coin amount, loading square thing keeps spinning for some time and disappears but nothing happens. maybe someone could provide some insight why this is happening? and what about just logging in every day? i read before that you get 15 coins per day, but it doesn't seem to be the case, if i'm not mistaken. you get coins during event period days, but i didn't noticed any coins any other days, except first few days of playing, how so? so do you actually get them daily?

I managed to buy 500MB coins no problem (which costs 5$). I also got the loading circle but that only happened when I canceled the purchase. When I bought the item there was no circle. It directed me to Steam page to add funds, and then proceeded to transaction, and I got the 500MB coin immediately.

I don't think it's possible to reach the yellow grade 8-9 items that require 90-110 lvl without having a fully developed 2nd FOB, you can develop the 70-80 ones with only the free FOB I believe. The reward you get for logging in takes way too long. I've been playing everyday for almost a week, and I definitely never got MB coin reward until today.

yeah today and i think tomorrow is the daily login event days, which gives you 50 MB coins each. and i don't think also that it's possible to get most of golden items without 2nd FOB. problem is, i don't get redirected to steam wallet page no matter what i do. and i have no clue why this is happening and how you suppose to get there. i'm only missing 90 coins so i'd probably just buy them as there is 100 MB coins option, if i could, but for some reason i can't and i can't figure out why.

hum that's annoying.
A pity konami only sells these coins in-game, but not in steam store outside of the game. So I guess you need to contact them directly.
