Wandering Mother Base Soldier 1

Hi,

i restarted my MGSTPP and started all over, but i have serious issues with the Wandering Mother Base soldier 1. That guy just wont drop.

I put like 25 tranquilizer darts on him, not shure how many did hit, but al least 10 should. After he did not drop, i ordered new supplies and did the same all over again but even after 25 hits he wont drop wtf?

I tried wounding him, but he only dies this way. Sneeking up on him wont work, because he always looks in my direction.

CQC also does not work, because this guy has the striking range of a giraffe and will just knock me down in one blow. What the Hell a guy with fighting skills level C knocks big boss out in one hit ?!

I also tried to just drop a resupply on him, but it takes too long, he keeps wandering a few steps away in the meantime.

Any ideas? :/

All I remember was that I dive first outside the range of his attacks before rushing him to catch the soldier and choke him.
You can also try rushing him with D-horse but it takes more time

Just shoot him once in the head with a tranq round, make sure he hasn't noticed you though.
(non lethal rifles help but i dunno if you've got one.)

Those soldiers won't drop to tranq guns no matter how many darts you put on them unless it's a headshot (and with their head "wobbling" it's sometimes hard to land a shot).

Fastest solution to deal with all those soldiers early on is simple... bring DD with either "Keep 'em Busy" (naked) or "Stun enemy" (stealth camo) commands.

With the naked version just sprint and grab once DD bites him, with the other just fulton the unconscious soldier.

Tranq pistol has a difficult time. Tranq sniper rifle shooting him unaware works great. For the first two missions, though, I just used CQC. It failed quite a few times just like you said but eventually I landed a blow and down he went.

You can also put your idrod to play "love deterrance" on speaker and they will come for you
