METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

Day or Night
When you invade FOBs, do you prefer to do it at daytime or at night?

I asked to see if there are other that like me. Seem like I have more success in FOB invasions at daytime than night.

Daylight gives a bonus multiplier. Normally, any FOB with *5 guards or higher ahve night vision and can see you as easily as in daylight. Wea rcity camo for a 2 X multiplier. Turn off reflex as you will have plenty of time to neutralze a guard, you lose a lot of ESp when reflex is triggersd.

I have also done this in city camo before the leaderboards became meaningless for ESP

Doesn't seem to matter for me, I get seen from the opposite side of the platform during the night by someone looking in a different direction regardless so I'm a bit lost on its benefits during FOB missions.

You need to be crawling or crouchwalking. The higher the grade of staff guards the further the detectin distance will be.

i always do ASAP deployment but I prefer daytime since those lamplights on FOBs and flashlights that the guards use when soft-spotting can be quite blinding.

Im not too experienced but I dont see any reason to not go daytime.

Nightime dosent make much difference because so manny lights but it does help the guards to be harder to see by you if you havent marked them. Their black and green uniforms are easier to see on daylight for sure; and you get used to move around using your uniform cammo rather than relay to stay away from lights.

Agree. That is probably why I have better success rate doing FOB in daytime than nighttime.

Maybe those that prefer nighttime depend on NVG?
