Why do people use the Bambetov over the AM MRS-73?

at the moment Bambetov has more alpha damage, not sure how it compares to new grade 9 am mrs.. and I think a new am mrs is 71, 73 has less damage

Bambetov can have a 20 magazine, i don't remember and customize AM MRS-73

The equivalent of Kalashnikov in MGS V is Gryzov.

However, the Bambetov is based on the Dragunov, named after Yevgeny Dragunov.

I actually prefere the MRS and its variants to a lot of weapons ingame... Ironicly in terms of the sniper variant. I use it for close range (no big scope) and have a sleep grenade launcher under it.

It all just depends on the mission really... hell I also prefere the MRS variants in MGO over other assault rifles (G44 is second pick).
