Which PF points trade reward is the most valuable ? (soldiers)

I'm close to being able to trade up my PF points for 3 S++ soldiers, but I just realised that I can almost get 15 S+ soldiers for the same amount of points, so which one would be the most profitable level-wise ?

Personally I use PF points only for resources when I require certain amount for development.

Look at it this way: it takes about 2 A++ soldiers to match ability points of one S soldier.
One S+ soldiers is 1.5 of an S rank and approximate 2x S ranks will give you S++

Precise points-per-rank breakdown as follows:

1 - 15 E
16 - 31 D
32 - 47 C
48 - 63 B
64 - 79 A
80 - 109 A+
110 - 184 A++
185 - 289 S
290 - 447 S+
448 or more S++

So there are no max cap to S++ ? because apart from seeing what I already saw in the Comprehensive Staff Guide, you're learning me nothing new. :I

If that's not enough, you could use that staff on a mission three times to get a distinguished service medal. Don't remember how many points that gives, probably about 40-50

Well no, I never said that, S++ is the be-all end-all as far as staff ranks go, but it's a gamble, because it costs 40k PF points to buy 3 S++ while 5x S+ costs 13.5k.

Boring math as follows:

S++: 39690 PF points for total of 1344-1500 skill points
S+: 13480 PF points for total of 1450-2235 skill points

With this in mind, yes, S++ are great, but for 1344-1500 staff skill points [39k PF points], you can have 4270-6580 staff skill points [3x S+ exchange], so................

All I'm looking for atm is grade 7 AM assault rifle with high durability suppressor and the drum magazine.

Btw, you can put these on a basic AK, right ?

not every weapon allows you to change muzzle accessory, but most of them does. you can put it on most of assault and sniper rifles. tho it's only good for 60 shots, so it's only good for modifying sniper rifles.
