I always get "Octopus"

Hi. I just tried to unlock a few new codenames, but somehow the system seems to be bugged. I retried the mission (4 i think) where you just have to eliminate the russian commander. One of the optional goals is to kil him from over 100m away. So I just grabbed a sniper rifle and shot him from the mountains. Was the only shot fired and weapon used in this mission which just took 1:30 Minutes this way.

But I still got Oktopus. Why?! Oktopus is for non leathal weapons, and I 100% used deadly sniper rifles?!

Some codenames only unlock when you did the required action/s 3 times in a row.

you dont have to do it 3 in a row. just most of 3 last missions. do c2w speedrun couple times with helicopter only, then you can kill 1 guy in other mission, 2 next, 4 yet another and etc, all different ways.

Yeah, but that only applies for foxhound and fox. all the others shoukd be 1 mission only.

also. I just finished a mission with no combat at all, never touched or shot anyone. still got octopus :(

Don't go stealth ways, try rambo style for three mission straight. And don't use non-lethal, since Octopus could only be obtained by using non-lethal attack(ZZZ,STN,---) from last three mission.

He just said in the OP that he's using a lethal sniper rifle.
