Just like everyone else, i too felt somewhat confused about snakes new voice. But after playing Ground Zeroes i quickly got used to it. Im also a huge fan of Keifers Work as an actor (24 for example) and i feel he adds a layer of depth even the mighty David Hayter couldnt bring. Sometimes, change isnt so bad. Im alright with it.

Yup Solid Snake from the MSX and Playstation versions is a clone of Big Boss who is known as Naked Snake, there is even a funny intro in MGS3 where Big Boss aka naked Snake parachutes in disguised as Raiden :)))) typical Kojima trolling on us :))) but yeah please play MGS3 and Peacewalker before going near this game ! Play the HD collection on PS3 or Xbox 360 it has all the essentials and even MGS1-2 MSX remastered on the MGS3 disk as a bonus, cheers

The reason Keifer is Big boss is probably because David hayter will be solid snake in the credits or something like from MGS4

David Hayter's voice become cheesy and overplayed after MGS1. Sutherland did good job to make Snake sound like a human being and not just some cartoonish character.

All it tells me is that he needs to distinguish Big Boss' voice from Solid Snake's.
Epic Kojima Trolling imminent.

I have a feeling we're talking something along the lines of MGS2 Raiden trolling.

Pretty useless these days, as games get leaked and spoiled weeks beforehand.

Regardless, they should've used Solidus' voice actor from MGS2, seeing as he's an exact replica of Big Boss at an older age than the Hayter voice.

Am I the only one who didn't liked David Hayters voice? It sounds so unnatural nobodys voice sounds like this. it has to be authentic, heroic, impressive and commaning. And thats what Kiefers voice sounds like.
