Downloading mgsv

i have a bad connection this day. Then i decided to copy mgsv game file from internet cafe, paste it in steamapps/common/MGS_TPP. Since there is no 'MGS_TPP' folder, i create it manually. But the game cant be played, steam still downloading it. any solution?

I'd delete the manually created folder and bite the bullet, sometimes you gotta deal with the bad connection :C

The reason it's not showing in steam because steam makes a keyed folder upon downloading it, and makes a registry on your computer, downloading it from a third party device (another computer) wont register it being downloaded on your steam client, that's why it's suck, gotta just go through the sluggish download and deal with it

The correct way to install all steam games without download all content is creating a backup from steam client,go to steam options of the steam client where the game is complete and create backup,there are a few steps to complete process then you just transfer to usb unit

Pretty sure it's not Denuvo. I installed MGSV the exact same way the OP is trying to do (except I copied it from a friend's computer) and it worked perfectly. Have you tried restarting your PC?

Honestly this, unless OP lives somewhere where his ISP will throttle his Internet speed for using it too much.
