METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

What's the max number of C4?
So I was thinking of doing something with the C4 remote explossives, but I'm not sure how many I can place down before they either start disapearing or exploding, I'll check it out in game later but I was wondering if someone had already tested it and could share the info.

Thanks for the help!

What's FOB mean anyway?
FOB means Forward Operating (operation) Base
And I meant in the normal maps, in free roaming

Stacking does not increase the explosive potential, the game treats them a one C-4 even if you have your entire inventory stacked. That has been my experience, I have used plant C-4 by AAA enplacements during my infiltration, to blow the AAA just before I entered the core or to distract curious guards especially Snipers
That wasn't my intention, I went and tested it and after 13 they start to vanish to only keep around 8 visible at any time. My plan was to sedate a whole base, draw a diamond in the center in C4, leave the base and watch the guards wake up to blow everything up when they were all up. Sadly with only like 8 visible at a time the diamond wouldn't be too big :(

stack them like cord wood, make your diamond pattern and soldier on. however, be prepared to have a avatar that resmbles a used tampon, LOL
I have no idea what you said... I think you may have used expressions I'm not familliar with. Mind explaining?

Pile the stunned guards on top of one another, sorry for using an old expression but I was born in 1949, like Peter Pan I ain't never growing up.
No worries and that was the intention, to gather and pile them in the same area with sleep mines and sleep grenades on hand to keep them out while I placed the C4 in my diamond shape (The same as on the emblem) to then pile them up in the center, kick them so they wake up, sedate them all again with 1 last sleep nade and then run away to a vantage point.

Sadly I can't draw a diamond with just 8 C4. I can do something similar but it won't have my artistic vision!

Can u lower your vision to adding a few mines into the pattern perhaps if you scale the distances you can get a sympathetic detonation of the mines from C-4
Ooh that's clever, I was thinking of using decoys instead for a hillarious "Kept you waiting huh?" Diamond instead but those are pretty hard to place, C4 and Claymores too bad the latter blow up if anything moves in front of them, would the anti-tank mines also detonate?

Honestly though I had picked the C4 at first due to the red light on them making them so flashy and easy to spot from afar.
