Metal Gear Online well never die - It's gonna be active for a Very Long time
Just as the title says, I don't think people understand the "Metal Gear Solid" fanbase. It's a very dedicated and loyal fan base. Yes, the population of MGO3 is small, but it's not "Dead" as some people would like to proclaim.

I find matches rather quickly, rather it be, BH, CnD or Comm Control. BH is pretty much opened 24/7 regardless of what time you get on.

As long as there is FOB and those who play this game mainly for the single player experience, MGO well always have a pretty decent population.

Heck alot of great games with awesome singleplayer experiences and multiplayer, the multiplayer aspect dies. MGO has more then surpassed the average lifespan of Multiplayer attached to a wonder single player experience. There are some people who only have Steam accounts to play Metal Gear Solid.

Even when Konami stops updating the game, MGO will still be active, promise. Despite its many flaws, peer to peer, cheaters (lack of anti-cheat support :( ..), people will still play MGO. If anyone use to play MGO2, that game was still active online until a couple years ago, despite the game coming out in 2006.

All I am saying, have hope, play hard.
Metal Gear Solid till the end....

Sure, I agree with you completly, but MGO2 came out in 2008 not in 2006.

Already it is difficult to find games. It's dead, truly. Lack of content doesn't help, either.

Lol Konami will support MGSV for more two years tops then they will pull the plug out of their servers to use them as pachinko machines instead.

Also MGO3 is dead, dead doesn't mean has zero players people usually use the term for a game that has 1k or less daily players.

Even so, you call Bioshock 2 or Dark Sector multiplayer dead because it has no people playing it and you call MGO3 dead because there's 1k still playing the game? And i could play every day I wanted to? Not the same thing and it could be misleading.

Metal Gear at peak hours has about 3,000-4,000 players, and it's been like that since the beginning of this year.

The matches aren't only BH, they rotate all modes, CC, CD, BH and Sabotage, at least it is when I'm playing the game..

I went online the other night, searched for games. I was presented with two options - One room that had 4/4 players and another room with 15/16. I played on the latter one for a few, but it was clear online is dead.

Just because that happened when you tried to play in that day doesn't mean in the next day won't me more people hosting rooms for people to play.
