transportation specialist is not showing up ??

angel with broken wings mission: I rescued all 3 prisoners at palace and the 2 at yakho oboo and completed mission but when I try to develop the fulton it is telling me I have no transportation specialist??
Am i missing something??

He could be injured or in brig . Or you forgot to extract him and just thought you did

According to the objectives list on the mission page both the 3 and 2 prisoner rescue objectives have been completed/ticked off. I haven't checked the brig, will check when i play later on. Thanks

just checked brig, no one there. I do have a bunch of people in the waiting room. Does anyone know the name of the transportation specialist?? how would I know who he is?

I just redid the mission. I found the Transportation Specialist as a prisoner on the third floor of the palace. If you do it and can't find him there, that must mean the traits are randomly assigned. Keep on repeating the mission until a Transportation Specialist shows up.

The transportation specialist gets a random name, you can look at all staff, sort by skills, and press t to access a menu that tells what skill a staff member has and scroll down until you find transportation specialist, if you find people with no skills then youve either gone to far, or you don't have a transportation specialist

It must be a bug! I have now successfully fulton extracted all 5 prisoners plus rescued Malek to finish the mission 6 times now with no transportation specialist at mother base?? I have checked every department including brig and sickbay.
This is really frustrating.

Check all the enemies in the map, too.

The specialist listing on the mission select means someone in the mission has that skill, there's no guarantee it's a prisoner that has the skill.

I did that too, I checked everyone at the palace camp and yakho obol camp but it didn't show the transportation specialist, I also interrogated a bunch of enemies to no avail. sigh, I'll try again and check the small outposts too.

He's actually the first one killed if you aren't fast enough. Get there, don't extract, look at him through the I-Droid and I bet it says he's a Transportation Specialist.

I think that perhaps you're missing him in the midst of a ton of guys. Finding someone specific is often like finding a specific needle in a needle stack. It's harder, cuz all the needles look the same.

Sort by skill on the all staff tab, then slowly go through the skills till you find him, though I'm almost willing to bet that you can't do what you want for some other reason. If you indeed extracted the Transportation specialist. That's why I said, check with the idroid before assuming he's the transportation specialist.

This is a long time later but the key is you may already have a specialist but if you use auto assign they seem to get assigned to your R&D group so it can make it appear that you don't have a transportation specialist for things like the upgraded Fulton device all you have to do for things like that is move a transportation specialist into one of the other groups worked for me

ah i see what's happening, remove some staff from your motherbase, if it's an enemy specialist then he is in the brig, if prisoner then auto recruited. Pull up ALL STAFF in staff management menu to see if you got em , further more the game shows if you got the specialist or not when the mission is over and before the black screen shows up
