Clarification about The Definitive Experience on Steam [SOLVED]

So, I tweeted the Metal Gear community manager Robert Peeler and he answered some of my questions. I hope it gives you the information you need about this version.

If you don't wanna open the tweets I'll try to explain this to you. If you already have TPP and you want the Definitive Edition, you have to buy the Definitive Edition as a gift and when you do that you automatically receive the exclusive DLC and then you have 2 copies GZ and TPP to gift with no DLC. That's what I took from those tweets.

The problem is solved for the Definitive Experience buyers:

-First I bought TPP: DE as a gift (Already own TPP)
-Then I went to my steam inventory (teh gift looks like a steam coupon now)
-I actually clicked on it and added to my library
-Then I got a copy of TPP to gift to someone and now own MGSV: GZ and all DLC myself. INCLUDING the console exclusives!

Yeah, I don't get it either, they would make a lot of money if they did that separatly and who will buy TPP for 29€ if you can get the DE for the same price? I think they didn't do that because the PS4/Xbox one doesn't let you buy them separatly either so we get nothing as well.

Like Robert said on those tweets I posted above yes, you will keep the DLCs. It's like your current games becomes the DE and the games you buy turns out to be the games you had with no DLCs anymore, I know I made it sounded more confused than it already is.

I had TPP and GZ before, i use reddit method and removed TPP. GZ and all dlc from my account. I bought new edition and got all dlc and GZ back, the only thing is that i wanted gold shield and other preorder/console dlc but i can't find it in the game.
Now i try to install TPP once again and check it again but from what i heard that they are locked for some reasons

So essentially, when you buy the bundle it takes whatever you don't have and accesses it / adds to your library, but keeps what you already have as a gift?

No, you will NOT get the DLCs unless you redeem the DE gift on your current account. Simply purchasing a gift does NOT grant the buyer anything.
Now, I want to say that unless Konami tweaked TPP+GZ subscriptions to provide extra gifts upon activation of DE (which I highly doubt they did), you will also NOT receive any extra copies of GZ and TPP as stated here.
The only MGSV sub providing extra copies was TPP preorder[steamdb.info] (note the line OnPurchaseGrantGuestPassPackage), which is not the case with DE[steamdb.info].
I'll go ahead and say the information Robert Peeler provided regarding extra copies is false *coughwouldntbethefirsttimecough*, at least for the time being.

Personnally, I am not interested in the DE at all. However, the skins and some other DLC's were on the store page yesterday. If there is supposed to be additionaly game content either online or offline, I cannot say that any was included.

Go to the Steam Metal Gear Solid TPP store page and all that is available is listed. honestly, I am not interested in the DE. IF there is additional game play maps either for on or offline play, I do not know if that content is included

You win, I said in the beginning that I was not sure a the DE. I stand corrected. I was wrong. However, as I was born in 1949, there is absolutely no way that I wouldever be embarassed on a forum. those who wish to delete two game from their inventory, repurchase them in the DE package for this content, I sa go for it.
